Summary

Five beautifully illustrated spreads show a series of friendly woodland animals hiding behind bright felt flaps。 A mirror on the final spread makes for a satisfying ending to the book's search-and-find inquiries。 (Where are you? There you are!) A perfect book to share with very little ones。

Not my favorite, but our little man at 12m LOVED this book。 I think it was a combination of the "peek-a-boo" with the felt flaps。 He really loved that he could pull and scrunch the flaps without it being a problem like most lift-flap paper books。 Not my favorite, but our little man at 12m LOVED this book。 I think it was a combination of the "peek-a-boo" with the felt flaps。 He really loved that he could pull and scrunch the flaps without it being a problem like most lift-flap paper books。 。。。more

For: animal fans (woodland themed); readers looking for a sweet lift-the-flap book。Possible red flags: flaps could be stretched/warped over time; some may find it too simple。

The best peek-a-boo book for little ones I have found! The flaps are bright and durable and pretty much destruction-proof。 My one year old has bent/ripped off the flaps of all his paper flap books as much as we try to stop him。 He’s just too enthusiastic! These books with felt flaps are perfect and still 100% intact。 Super happy。The illustrations are also bright, colourful and gorgeous。 They’re simple enough that little ones can easily identify the creatures, but also beautifully decorative。 A m The best peek-a-boo book for little ones I have found! 📖 Where’s Mr。 Owl? By Ingela P。 Arrhenius |Published by nosycrow Mamá says:Cute little book part of a bigger series of flap books for 0-2yr olds。 Flap books can be tricky for Eva’s not-so-delicate grip, but these are made of felt and are bright fluo so they are perfect。 I guess this is why finding age appropriate books does work。 😬Eva says:The ending though。。。 I’m going to give it 5 stars just for that。 Bravo!

Marianne

super cute, somewhat predictable to anyone older than 2 ;)。

Libby loves this book。 It’s the first one she has actively engaged with since we started nightly reading。 She liked the flaps of felt and smiled at the hedgehog and the mirror! Cute book that I’m sure we will be reading many more times!

My 1。5 yr old loves this book so much, I think we need to buy it。 Sometimes books with flaps are hard for his little fingers to grab, but since this has felt flaps, it's a lot easier and he will just sit and look through it again and again。 My 1。5 yr old loves this book so much, I think we need to buy it。 Sometimes books with flaps are hard for his little fingers to grab, but since this has felt flaps, it's a lot easier and he will just sit and look through it again and again。 。。。more

Arrhenius, Ingela P。 Where’s the Owl。 BOARD BOOK with felt flaps。 Nosy Crow (Candlewick, 2017。 $9。Five felt flaps are ready for a whole lot of tugging as baby explores forest animals。 I love the felt flaps。 They are so sturdy。 The price is not unreasonable for a book that will last longer than more paper flap books。Pre-K - ADVISABLE。 Cindy, Library Teacherhttps://kissthebook。blogspot。com/2017。。。 Arrhenius, Ingela P。 Where’s the Owl。 BOARD BOOK with felt flaps。 Nosy Crow (Candlewick, 2017。 $9。Five felt flaps are ready for a whole lot of tugging as baby explores forest animals。 I love the felt flaps。 They are so sturdy。 The price is not unreasonable for a book that will last longer than more paper flap books。Pre-K - ADVISABLE。 Cindy, Library Teacherhttps://kissthebook。blogspot。com/2017。。。 。。。more

I love the fact that it's a peek-a-boo game。 The fact that the flaps are felt instead of cardboard is nice。 The colors are bright and bold。 Overall, I think this is a good choice for parents to choose with little ones。 。。。more
